Personae — Last updated: August 5, 2026

This translation is provided for convenience. The French version is the only legally binding one.

These terms of use (the “Terms”) govern the use of the Personae app. By using the app, you accept these Terms.

1. Publisher

The Personae app is published by Raphaël SLAVIK, an individual.

Contact: contact@personagame.fr

2. Purpose of the app

Personae is a multiplayer social game offering several game modes: pointing at other participants in answer to a question and then discovering how the group sees you (Classic mode and its themed variants), or choosing between two options and betting on how well you match the group (Dilemmas mode). Other modes may be added or removed in future updates.

The app is offered free of charge. It requires an internet connection to work.

3. Access and account

The app can be used without an account (guest mode) or with an account, which is optional.

If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity carried out from your account.

You can delete your account at any time from the app (Profile → Settings → Delete account).

4. Minimum age

The app is not recommended for anyone under 16. Some questions deal with themes intended for a mature audience.

5. Intellectual property

All elements making up the Personae app — the source code, the visual identity, the name “Personae”, the logo, the illustrations, the interface, the texts, and all of the game's questions — are the exclusive property of Raphaël SLAVIK and are protected by copyright.

All rights reserved.

Any reproduction, representation, adaptation, translation, extraction or reuse, in whole or in part, of these elements, by any means and on any medium, is prohibited without the publisher's prior written permission.

This includes, without limitation:

Using the app grants you only a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right of use. It does not transfer any ownership rights to you.

6. Rules of conduct

By using Personae, you agree not to:

Some game modes may include an automatic filter and player reporting for submitted content; their presence does not exempt anyone from following these rules.

The publisher reserves the right to suspend or delete, without notice, any account that does not follow these rules.

7. Nature of the game and responsibility between players

Personae is based on subjective judgments that players make about one another. Game results, votes received and generated profiles are neither a psychological assessment, nor a diagnosis, nor an objective truth about anyone.

The game is meant to be played among people who know each other and willingly take part. Each player remains responsible for their own behavior toward the other participants.

8. Service availability

The publisher strives to keep the app available but does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted operation. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates or technical reasons.

The publisher reserves the right to change, modify or discontinue all or part of the service at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher cannot be held liable for:

These limitations do not apply in the event of gross negligence or willful misconduct by the publisher, nor to the rights the law guarantees you as a consumer.

10. Paid content

The app is currently free and ad-free. The publisher may offer additional paid content in the future (extra question packs, cosmetic items). Such purchases would be optional and clearly presented as such.

11. Personal data

How your personal data is processed is described in our Privacy policy.

12. Changes to the Terms

These Terms may be amended. The date of the last update appears at the top of this document. In the event of a substantial change, users with an account will be informed.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable resolution, the French courts shall have jurisdiction, subject to the protective rules applicable to consumers.
